Sister-in-Law with MS

By Renee Fitzgerald

My fondest memory of St. John's International Airport is going to wish my sister-in-law with MS good luck as she left to go to Poland for her surgery. The amount of people there at the airport that evening to see her off was unbelievable! We were all so nervous to send her overseas to get this surgery that would help her live a "somewhat" normal life. I remember crying and holding her in my arms as if I never would see her again. Then two weeks later she walked down those stairs with the biggest smile on her face into another HUGE crowd cheering her home!
